The used filter press for the treatment of sludge deriving from the processing of marble, granite and stone has the purpose of separating the water from the sludge making the latter dehydrated and more easily disposed of.
The process starts from drafting the sludge from the wastewater collection tank of the marble workshop which is compressed by a piston between filter cloth plates and sized according to the need, forming a block that will then be disposed of while the water is being recovered, it then returns to the purification system.
